Most of his builds are works of complicated gear-building techniques that materialize after much hit and trial. While most of us would give up at the seemingly unscalable hurdle, the passionate DIYer stops at nothing.

His latest creation highlights his love for omnidirectional treadmills, and the first thing that comes to mind is the Disney Holotile. While the former employs disks tilting at different angles, the latter rotates them instead. That’s what makes this unique LEGO Technic different.

His first-ever DIY came through a year ago, and even though it was very complex and large, the community of passionate builders loved it. Between that time and the creation of this intricate build, he has put together some interesting LEGO creations. The unique design of tilting rotating discs really took his attention and he wanted to make one in his style. The initial hurdle was that the design could only move around large objects (that too not with maximum precision) supported by large discs.

After a lot of tinkering and brainstorming, the DIYer improved on the initial design when a light bulb moment happened as one of the channel’s dedicated followers suggested a fix. On the way through implementing the donor idea of using LEGO net to secure the long gears in place and for their synchronized moment, the final design came through as a marvel of engineering in its rights.

The YouTuber presses on the fact that the LEGO treadmill has some similarities to the Holotile but in no way is an emulation of the design. Fundamentally the creation has a very different working principle, and I totally agree. It uses discs that can be titled at an angle whereas the Holotile has fixed angle tiles with a base that rotates. Anyway, I just loved the amount of thinking put into this LEGO treadmill’s build.

Lisbon’s charm doesn’t come with fanfare—it’s tucked away in its winding alleys, its sunlit rooftops, and the clatter of its old trams scaling steep streets. Standing at the Miradouro das Portas do Sol, you’re treated to a view that’s pure poetry: orange-tiled roofs spilling down hillsides, punctuated by the white of church towers and the occasional green of a courtyard. It’s the kind of scene that stays with you long after you’ve left.

Two big, playful brands celebrated their 50th anniversary this year: Hello Kitty and Rubik’s Cube. The iconic cat (that’s actually a girl dressed as a cat) had a lot of celebrations and collaborations this year. The equally iconic colorful cube also released several products to commemorate a milestone year for them. And before the year ends, these two unveiled a collaboration that would please fans of either or both of them: a Hello Kitty Cuber.

Design: Spin Master

This official Rubik’s Cube is a fully solvable and limited edition cuber that adds a pretty cute twist to it. Instead of the normal colorful cubes it’s known for, you get a mostly white 3 x 3 cube (6 sides of 9 squares) that has minimalist illustrations of items like clouds, bows, and of course the facial features of Hello Kitty. You’re supposed to combine math, art, science, and a bit of kawaii to eventually solve it.

Just like with the Rubik’s Cube, you’ll get challenged (or frustrated, depending on how you look at it) until you are able to solve it and create the 6 faces of the Hello Kitty design it’s meant to show off. Once you finish it, you can attach this character head to a stand that is her body and put on the iconic red bow on her as well. You can display it with pride or also just challenge yourself to do it over and over again.

The beloved sitcom Full House has finally been immortalized in an adorable LEGO set! Crafted by LEGO builder obiblock, this set is a is a fine specimen meticulous design, though the exact number of pieces remains a mystery. The level of detail is astonishing, from the plants adorning the kitchen window to the intricately designed front and back doors.

he set recreates the living room, complete with its iconic couch, fireplace, and the staircase leading to the bedrooms. A door opens into the kitchen, which features a cozy coffee table, a kitchen island, and the familiar backdoor that Kimmy often uses for her entrances. The set also includes a delightful array of characters, featuring Danny and his three daughters, Uncle Joey, Uncle Jesse, and Aunt Becky.

7. LEGO Godzilla

8. LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

LEGO builder Teljesnegyzet has brought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life with a captivating LEGO-based action figure set. The model is tangible, and based on the idea that a machine can compute any algorithm as long as the right instructions are fed into it. Both LEGO-fans and gearheads have one thing in common – they’re incredibly passionate. They obsess over tiny details, are always up for a challenge, and champion their cause with a puffed chest. In short, they’re diehards, so when LEGO launches a car model on its brick-based platform, you best bet it drives both communities wild! However, if writing about LEGO for almost a decade now has taught me anything, they’re incredibly selective. The company doesn’t take is catalog casually – especially when it comes to collaborations.

A lot of planning, execution, marketing, and licensing goes behind each and every single collaboration, whether it’s LEGO’s Harry Potter collection, Star Wars collection, Marvel/DC collection, or any of their LEGO Technic sets in partnership with car brands. Sadly, this means a LOT of truly iconic cars still haven’t received their very own LEGO set yet – either because research doesn’t show it’ll sell well, or because there’s a legal hiccup preventing LEGO from building a kit of our favorite cars. We gathered a list of 10 absolutely iconic cars that STILL don’t have their own LEGO sets and entrusted AI to help visualize what these sets could possibly look like… after all, a boy can dream, can’t he?!

The Bugatti Veyron gets the top spot on this list purely for the fact that it was the first time I saw a car and went ‘wow’. I was a kid back when the Veyron dropped, and I remember how it sparked a love for automobiles in me. This LEGO set would work – I just know it, but for some reason, the Bugatti Veyron (the car that held the production speed record for 5 years) doesn’t have a LEGO set yet. The Bugatti Chiron and Bolide, however, have their own LEGO sets.

What I love about this design is that it’s the first in a line of new-age Bugattis with its iconic visual language. The inverted horseshoe grill, the C-shaped rear pillar, the blue and black color combination, all just clicked together with the Veyron, making the modern-day icon it is today. The LEGO set would capture this beauty in its own inimitable style.

While the Lamborghini Countach (a Gandini original) has its own LEGO set, the gorgeous Miura doesn’t.

When the Miura released in 1966, it was the fasted production car, boasting a top speed of 276 km/h (171 mph). However, when the Miura wasn’t a motion blur in your periphery, it was a work of art. A LEGO Model 3 would celebrate the refinement and subtlety that Tesla brought to everyday driving, capturing the car’s clean silhouette, flush door handles, and that telltale panoramic glass roof. Recreating the seamless front fascia and understated wheel designs would pay homage to how the Model 3 reshaped the automotive landscape, showing that a car can be both approachable and groundbreaking. Yet, despite Rivian’s rapid ascent and the industry’s growing enthusiasm for electric adventure vehicles, these innovative models still haven’t been adapted into LEGO form. In fact, both pickup trucks and EVs are a vastly underrepresented category in LEGO’s arsenal.

A LEGO Rivian R1 build would capture the spirit of sustainable exploration, highlighting the vehicles’ signature front lightbar, practical gear storage solutions, and refined interior materials. There’s something almost philosophical in how this Swedish EV embraces simplicity: from its crisp lines that reject the idea of a front grille, to the cabin’s atmosphere that feels more akin to a chic Nordic apartment than a traditional automobile interior. When I first encountered the Polestar 2, I was struck by its sense of calm—like meeting someone who doesn’t need to raise their voice to be heard.

A LEGO rendition of this car wouldn’t just be about capturing taillight signatures or wheel designs; it would reflect the Polestar 2’s underlying ethos. Instead of dramatic engine roar or over-the-top bodywork, you’d be building a model that represents quiet confidence, responsible engineering, and a dedication to doing more with less. The challenge wouldn’t lie in constructing flashy spoilers or carbon-fiber imitations, but in conveying the subtlety and thoughtfulness that makes the Polestar 2 a new kind of icon in automotive design.

One of the biggest use case proposals for home robots, at least next to cleaning floors, is the care of older members of the family. Whether it’s reminding them of their medication or delivering the newspaper to their side, these rolling robots are imagined to give much-needed assistance to less ambulant members of the household. But while that’s definitely a necessity, it makes the generalization that older people at home are all stuck to their seats most of the day.

Many senior citizens, especially those who are just starting their retirement stage, don’t have such needs yet. They’re still able to move on their own and even prefer a bit of independence while they can still physically enjoy it. More often than not, what they do need is some form of companionship, not necessarily from people, and this robot pet concept tries to deliver that kind of emotional support that impersonal “delivery” robots might not be able to.

Of course, those robots for seniors being advertised by some companies try to have a friendly face that can theoretically appeal to these people, but the emotional connection ends there. It’s the same as having a courier simply delivering your items with a smile. For older people who can simply walk over to the counter on their own, it doesn’t add much value to their lives.

Careby is more like an emotional support pet than a personal caregiver, designed to offer the kind of companionship older people now seek from flesh and blood animals. Without the hassle of feeding and cleaning, of course. It looks like a cross between a cat and some quadruped critter, except it has wheels for feet instead. And, of course, it’s supposed to be AI-driven so that it can intelligently respond to voice prompts or react to your facial expressions.

What’s a little interesting is that Careby is not supposed to be an obedient robot by design. It will sometimes refuse to obey commands or display a stubborn streak, mimicking the behavior of real-life pets or even children. To some extent, it tries to create a more spontaneous and believable relationship, though it’s walking on a slipper slope as older people tend to be less patient as years go by.

Truth be told, Careby might look like any other home robot toy that’s growing in number in the smart home market today, though it might be one of the first to target a very specific niche audience. Most of these will be powered by AI, so it’s not exactly a unique feature, but it does bring to mind the diverse needs of people at home, especially older members who are still able to take care of themselves but need more than just physical care.

Of course actual contact with human beings would be the most ideal but for those that are not able to always do so, an interactive educational and entertainment tool would be the next best thing.

The TED-I is an AI-powered Teddy Bear concept that is meant to be “a friend, menter, and teacher” to the child that it’s baby-sitting if there are no available adults at the moment. It is equipped with different features to help engage with the child and recognize their potential early on. The child is also able to interact back with the bear because of the features so they don’t feel that they’re just alone with the device.

The bear is equipped with two microphones on its ears so it can detect sounds around it, including when the child talks. One of its eyes has a projector lens that can project images and videos onto surfaces while the other eye has a camera that can detect user and environmental movements. It can also record and stream live video for the parents if they’re not there. On the cheeks, there are two speakers so the child can listen to music and to the video’s audio. There’s also an LED screen on its mouth so you can see real-life mouth movements and expressions while the artificial heart on its chest also expresses emotions through the different colors. It has a wireless charging pillow when you need to it to rest and recharge.

It’s an interesting concept if the child (or adult) is not afraid of android bears that might eventually become their overlord. While it’s meant to be a child’s more interactive babysitter, the parents can also enjoy it with their children like watching movies together and listening to music while talking.
